HOW MUCH DO YOUR WEDDING DRESSES COST?

Our wedding dress collections range from affordable wedding dress options at $1200 to luxury bridal gowns at $7000.  We also have wedding dresses you can purchase off the rack for $800 to $3000.

at the time of your appointment in our Hartford, Connecticut boutique.

WHEN DO I ARRIVE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

We reccomend that you arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment in order to fill out a small form regarding your event details and what you are looking for in a dress.

 

The bridal appointment at our Hartford, Connecticut is one hour and fifteen minutes long.

WHO SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Family and friends whose opinions you value and who will support you throughout the exciting process of selecting your wedding dress.

 

Our dressing rooms can accomodate up to 4 guests comfortably. If you have more than 4 guests arriving to help you select your dream wedding dress, please notify us in advance. 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

During your appointment, you will be paired with a professional bridal stylist who will get to know you and your style.

 

At Mariella Creations every bride is special and deserves personal attention. Our Consultants' knowledge of our wedding dress collections and bridal accessories, will bring the vision of your perfect wedding dress to life. 

WHAT IS A SPECIAL/PRIVATE APPOINTMENT?

That is a private appoinment when our store is closed on a Sunday. You, your bridal party & entourage will have the store exclusively to yourselves for 3 hours with a bridal & bridesmaids stylist.To make the most of your experience we will include champagne, bites & treats for all of your guests. The cost is $300. If you & your bridesmaids purchase during your appointment 5% discount for the bride and 10% discount for the bridesmaids.

WHEN SHOULD I BEGIN WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING?

It's never too early to start shopping for your dream wedding dress.  

 

Wedding dresses can take anywhere from 4 to 6 months to arrive at our store, once ordered. It may take longer, depending on specific customization.

 

So if you are able to get your search started early

to allow time for the dress to arive at the store and leave time for altertions, if needed, we highly recommend it.

 

 

WHAT IS A TRUNK SHOW?

A Trunk Show is an event in which a wedding dress designer showcases some wedding dresses from a specific collection for brides to preview for a limited time.

 

An incentive of 10% off is offered on those select wedding dresses, on orders placed only with

 within the trunk show event days. 

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?

There is no need to bring anything to your appointment except your fabulous self!

 

If you would like to bring certain undergarments in which you would like to try on wedding dresses, you may do so as well. 

SHOULD I BE PREPARED TO SAY “YES TO THE DRESS"?

Even though you may feel you need to do a lot of wedding dress shopping, to see everything that's out there, typically brides find their dream wedding dress at their first appointment.

 

So be prepared to make a purchase if you have fallen in LOVE with your a dress and can see yourself walking down the isle in it. 

 

Sometimes over-shopping is confusing and overwhelming. Trust your gut instinct!

WILL I NEED ALTERATIONS?

Brides are measured on the day the order is placed. We compare your measurements to the company's sizing chart and order the size closest to those measurements, once the bride has signed off on it. 

 

  It is rare that a gown will fit perfectly in all the right spots when it arrives at the store, so we recommend sceduling your alterations appointment once you receive the email letting you know that your dress has arrived.

 

Our altertions department - Margie & Irena’s Alterations is located 4 buildings away, on the same side of the street as Mariella Creations, on the second floor of Formals by Antonio. Information regarding alterations and pricing will be given to you at the time of your order.

WHAT DOES IT COST TO ORDER MY WEDDING DRESS?

A deposit of 60% plus sales tax is required to submit the order.

 

The remaining balance is not due until the wedding dress arrives at our store.

 

If you are buying a wedding dress out of stock, you must pay for it in full at time of purchase.

CAN I BRING FOOD OR DRINK TO MY APPOINTMENT?

We ask that you do not bring food into the store to protect our gowns.

 

If you would like to bring a bottle of champagne that would be fine. We do ask that you serve it during your appointment and not wait until you  decide on a gown, only because you may run out of time.

WHAT IF I AM AN OUT OF STATE BRIDE?

This is not a problem at all! We can make special arrangements to have your gown altered during one weekend or schedule several  fittings while you are in CT.

 

We can also ship the wedding dress once alterations are done or if you would like to take care of alterations on your own. 

FOR BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES

For your bridesmaids please schedule an appointment. We have a bridesmaid suite and would love to give your girls personal attention as well.

 

We do have special ordering on our website for your out of state bridesmaids. We also can ship gowns to your bridesmaids when they arrive.

FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS AND PROM

You do not need an appointment to view these gowns. Please feel free to come in during store hours. We have on staff at all times professional consultants that will assist you.
